Dear Grandma

I just graduated a few months ago from college, and I wish you were there. I know you were sick, and I remember the suffering you had to go through. The blessing of forgiveness you have given me. I miss you  and would move mountains to give you this letter of love. The funny jokes you used to tell me or sneaking me money so i can go buy me something from the corner store "Mr G's". Everything has changed, we just got out of a global pandemic (COVID), and experienced something that not even you had experienced. The pandemic changed everything, the world we once knew is now gone and this new world has emerged. We are fearful of others more now, and look at our neighbors with skeptical eyes, yet I am hopeful that we we will love thy neighbor like thy self. May your spirit rest forever in peace, without greed, hate, and envy.

Your spirit rests within me, and I am grateful for you in eternity and forever. To the ends of the earth.
